never ending storm

Depression grips me like a vice
A storm of emotions, cold as ice
Isolated in my own mind
Tormented by thoughts unkind

I long for a ray of light
To break through the darkness of night
But all I see is endless gloom
A never-ending cycle of doom

I try to fight, to push through
But the weight of it all, it’s too much to do
I feel like I’m drowning in my own despair
Lost in a world that just doesn’t care

But I know deep down, there is a way
To break free from this endless fray
I’ll hold on tight, and weather the storm
And emerge stronger, in a new form

So I’ll keep pushing, keep fighting on
Knowing that one day, the darkness will be gone
And I’ll find peace in the midst of the pain
And learn to love myself again.
